Bouldering campaign | Alpkit

Reinforcing brand authority in bouldering for the launch of a new product range.

Auditing existing content, identifying content opportunities and writing original content in the run up to a new range of bouldering pads (crash pads that climbers use when climbing without ropes).

Alpkit are an outdoor brand with solid roots in climbing equipment and UK made products. In a market saturated with competitors large and small, they completely redesigned their range of bouldering pad with a soft launch before their new year bouldering campaign. These posts were revised or originated for the soft launch and shared during the campaign.

How to choose a bouldering pad

We’ve been making bouldering mats for over 10 years and have answered a lot of questions in that time. Here’s some simple advice for buying your first bouldering mat.

Our new bouldering pads

Bouldering pads were one of the first things we designed. We have more experience than we’d care to disclose in falling off boulder problems. In fact, we’ve fallen off boulders all over the world, so it was only natural that we’d want to make things that we could fall onto.

Our expertise in bouldering mats

We take enormous pride in the quality of our bouldering mats, and get our kicks knowing climbers trust them to seek out and climb inspiring lines, some even developing into British and World champions.

Here’s our recipe for great bouldering pads…

How to store your bouldering pad

Storing your mat properly is key to ensuring it lives longer. But bouldering pads aren’t very stealthy, so finding a subtle spot to store one isn’t the easiest of tasks. These pointers should set you on the right path…

Bouldering with multiple mats

What could be better than a nice, large, firm bouldering mat to land on? Even more bouldering mats of course!

High Perfoamance

We see foam as the most important part of your bouldering pad. Sure it may have a super funky design and all the features, but if the foam’s no good then you may as well not have it.

Safer landing when bouldering

They say that if you’re not falling, you’re not trying. So if falling is the key to sending that project, we’d better make sure we’re doing it properly.
